They need to have a lot of room to run around in. Their heavy coats make them uncomfortable in hotter months, but they love to be in cold temperatures. You need to make sure that your fence is well built and secure since Huskies have definitely been known to disappear in remarkable ways. You should make sure to train your Siberian Husky with good puppy training. The Siberian Husky always looks for signs of weakness, so you will need some help in training them. If you are not a dominant owner, these dogs can become increasingly difficult. New dog owners are not a good fit for the Siberian Husky. Huskies love to eat and can definitely eat a lot. If these dogs are nervous and high-strung, however, you will have problems feeding them. If they do not have these issues, however, you might even catch your Siberian Husky eating the siding on the house! Grooming and Health Problems
Huskies should be groomed regularly to remove the dirt and hair. When they are shedding, however, you will need to groom them more frequently. Siberian Huskies are healthy dogs, although they can have injuries due to fights with other dogs or general accidents. They can also experience hip dysplasia and hypothyroidism.
